Application of PPS fiber in thermal power generation, cement industry and other fields

    Thermal power generation

PPS fiber is mainly used in the filter fabric for the baghouse of coal-fired boilers. The waste heat of flue gases emitted from industrial furnaces contains a lot of corrosive chemicals such as nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, and halogen acids. It is difficult for ordinary chemical fiber materials to survive the above working conditions. In contrast, the service life of PPS fibers can reach about 3 years.

    Cement industry

Cement industry. In the production line for the new dry process cement, bag filters are becoming increasingly popular for kiln boilers, and PPS fiber filter materials have come in handy for this.

    PPS heat pipes

The PPS heat pipes have good heat conductivity, excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, high blast resistance, and smooth surface that is fouling resistant. It can maintain high performance and high durability for a long time and meet the demanding working conditions of the chemical and thermal power flue gas industries.

The flue gas heat exchanger is the key equipment in recycling waste heat from flue gasses and the elimination of white smokes. In the heat recovery process, strong corrosive condensate will be generated due to the condensation of the flue gas. In order to address this, most industries will use fluoroplastic heat exchangers or metal heat exchange tubes with anti-corrosion coatings, but they all have the same flaws of high cost and short service life.

Under the working conditions of most chemical heat exchangers, heat exchange tubes not only require high thermal conductivity, but also extremely strong corrosion resistance and temperature resistance. Currently, metal heat exchangers and graphite block heat exchangers are the most common types. In practical applications, low-cost metal heat exchange tubes are extremely susceptible to corrosion by the medium, while the cost of alloy metal or special metal heat exchangers is higher. The graphite block hole heat exchanger has low cost and good corrosion resistance but has a short service life and low operating pressure.
